In 2008, Games Soc merged with the DCU traditional and tabletop gaming Society, STOCS. STOCS, also known as "The NIHED Gaming Society", was DCU's oldest society and they were responsible for board gaming, card gaming, RPGs, LARPs, war gaming etc.

Since the two societies have now merged, these events are continuing as before under the Games Soc name. Every Monday and Wednesday night from 6pm in the Seminar Room or in the Henry Grattan building, we play all forms of traditional and tabletop games together.

Throughout the year we will also be running tournaments and campaigns in various different games too.
