ARMYLISTS
FORCES FIGHTING FOR THE GLORIOUS IMPERIUM OF MAN
[www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~duke/stuff/ORDER.pdf]

DARK FORCES FIGHTING FOR THE RUIN OF ALL
[www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~duke/stuff/CHAOS.pdf]

VICTORY CARDS
The Commander   win initiative (use before roll)
The Warrior      reroll a single close combat or firefight (i.e. to hit, wounds and saves)
The Inquisitor   cancel a victory card when it is played
The Judge      target piece of terrain with a single Orbital Strike (BS 4 Str 6 AP 4 Ordnance blast)
The High Priest   automatically pass one leadership test (use before roll)
The Astropath   reroll any failed reserves rolls this turn (after rolls)
The Warp      force reroll of successful reserves rolls this turn (after rolls)
The Fabricator   negate effect of one result on the vehicle damage chart (after roll)
The Savage   one unit becomes fearless until next turn
The Assassin   one troop unit becomes infiltrators (played during setup)

THE RULES
Each player starts with 5 territories for a total of 30 per team. If a player looses all 5 of their territories they are out, and the team down a player.

Order of play:
Team leaders must submit orders for their team (ie Fetch to attack Rockhamsters territory, Hauk will defense, etc) to me by Thursday each week.

Defending players then decide who they will defend against and play a game of 40K against that attacking player.
If the attacker wins he gains control of the territory, if he looses it remains with its owner.
The result along with any victory cards used must be posted to the boards.

In the case of more attackers than defenders those who get through gain the territory uncontested and the attacked player looses it.
Forfeits and unreported results are draws.

Updates will be posted every Thursday night, after team leaders have submitted their orders.

The winning team will be the one with the most territory at the end of the league and top player is decided by most victory cards earned.

Players who end up without a 40k game over the week, can proxy for players who do not have time to fight that week or play grudge matchs..

F.A.Q.
Q. Is it possible to select whose territory you are going to attack?
A. The team leaders have to declare whose territory is going to be attacked and which player is going to attack it, in their orders.

Q. Can more than one player attack said territory?
A. Yes.

Q. What if more players succeed in attacking a players territory than that player has territory? (ie 3 players win attacks against a player with 2 left)
A. The team leader divides the territories between the winners.

Q. Does the attacked player have to defend their own territory?
A. No, this is a team game.

Q. Is everybody from each team ordered each week?
A. Yes, decide who is attacking and where, anyone not attacking goes into your pool of defenders.

Q. How are defenders assigned?
A. Once orders are posted defenders decide who they want to fight and arrange when to play.

Q. One of our team can't play this week, can another player proxy for them?
A. Yes, if another player has time they can step in.

Q. What happens if there are more attackers than defenders?
A. Anyone you can't defend against wins an automatic victory and the territory but no victory card.

Q. Can i play more than one victory card in a game?
A. Yes

Q. I don't have an opponent this week, can i still play?
A. Yes pick another willing player (any team) and fight a grudge match, no territories are at stake but you can still earn a victory card.

Q. When are orders due in?
A. Every thurday, once both teams orders are in I will post them to the forum.

Q. We didn't get our battle played this week, can we play later?
A. No, unplayed battles are considered a draw.

Q. I've lost all my territories am i out?
A. Yes, your team leader can't issue you orders (i.e. you team is down a player).

Q. Crap, I'm out can i still play?
A. You can proxy for team members or play grudge matches but you can't earn victory cards.

I once encountered a Magos who studied the unholy biologies of the xenos, the told me that this crude yelling is an exhortation to charge mindlessly towards the nearest shiney object.

He was unfortunately, clad in armour of polished adamantium and therefore swamped by a great hoard of greenskins some time later.

Looking at Marek's list, I wasn't aware that Chaos could still take veteran skills and such. Is he using the current codex? Ian, you'd know, right?

Or he could post himself, I suppose. Sorry, Marek.
